S-Tier

Top of the tree right now — strongest damage or survivability per point spent, proven node paths.

A-Tier

Very strong with a specific game plan or group setup; a tier behind on raw output.

mageMedium· 15–50

Summoner Necromancer

Summon / sustained damage

The build 1.0 was made for: actively summoned skeletons, the new Advanced Necromancy and Totem Mastery nodes, and Gems of Necromancy stacking an undead army. You fight beside your minions while wands pick targets apart.

rangerHard· 20–50

Poison Dagger Assassin

Melee burst / mobility

The new-look assassin: dagger skills now live in the ranger area's assassin cluster, and the new Venomous Blades → Venom Mastery line finally gives daggers a poison payoff. You open from stealth with Sneak Attack, stack Backstab Mastery and Fatal Precision crits from behind, and Expose Weakness melts what doesn't die to the opener. High skill, high burst, endlessly mobile.

warriorMedium· 10–50

One-Handed Warden (Tank)

Tank / frontline anchor

The group's wall: Tower and Warden reduce incoming damage, Heavy Plates and Shiny Plates multiply your armor, and Power Parry plus the new Martyr node turn blocked hits into party value. One-Handed Specialization keeps real damage on the table while everything else on the route makes you harder to kill. In co-op you hold everything; solo you're slow but nearly unkillable.

mageMedium· 20–50

Frost Control Mage

Crowd control / sustained damage

The thinking player's mage: Iceman and Frost chill everything, Terror extends spell damage into control, and the knockback plus Blink keep the field shaped how you want it. Chain Hit → Mass Destruction lets crits do the cleaning while enemies crawl toward you. Less burst than fire, far more safety when everything moves at half speed.

B-Tier

Situationally excellent — the right pick when your party or playstyle needs exactly this.

FAQ

What is the best build in Enshrouded 1.0?

For most players, the crit bow ranger or the two-handed barbarian — both are S-tier on the 1.0 tree, cheap to level, and strong from early to endgame. In a fixed group, the fire battlemage adds the highest area damage and the radiant healer multiplies the whole party.

Do old Enshrouded builds still work in 1.0?

Only partially. Update 8 rebuilt the skill tree (ranks, layout, resets) and 1.0 added new skills and moved the dagger line into the assassin cluster, resetting trees again. Allocations need re-planning — that's exactly what the planner and these guides are for.

How many builds are on this list?

Five complete ones. We would rather ship five finished builds than fifty thin ones — every guide here has the full skill path, stat priority, gear stages and FAQ. More are added as they're verified.

Can I modify these builds?

Yes — every guide has an 'Open in planner' link that loads the exact allocation. Remove or add points from there and copy your own link; nothing is locked.
