Enshrouded Mage Builds — 1.0
Wand, staff and spell builds from the mage area — 74 nodes of elemental damage, necromancy, blink and the new 1.0 wand attack skills. Mages scale hardest with gear and eternal spells, and the summoner line got a full rework.

Fire Battlemage
Ranged burst / area damage
A staff-and-spell mage that stacks fire: Arsonist's flat fire damage, Wizard's spell crit, and the Chain Hit → Mass Destruction combo that turns every crit into an area blast. 1.0's spell rebalance and eternal spells removed the old charge-count anxiety entirely.
Summoner Necromancer
Summon / sustained damage
The build 1.0 was made for: actively summoned skeletons, the new Advanced Necromancy and Totem Mastery nodes, and Gems of Necromancy stacking an undead army. You fight beside your minions while wands pick targets apart.
Frost Control Mage
Crowd control / sustained damage
The thinking player's mage: Iceman and Frost chill everything, Terror extends spell damage into control, and the knockback plus Blink keep the field shaped how you want it. Chain Hit → Mass Destruction lets crits do the cleaning while enemies crawl toward you. Less burst than fire, far more safety when everything moves at half speed.
Plan your own mage build
Start from one of the guides above, then move nodes in the skill tree planner — the link in each guide restores the exact allocation, and everything you change is saved to your own copy of the URL. Before re-speccing a pre-1.0 character, skim what changed in the Mage area so you don't rebuild around a node that moved or lost ranks.
Attribute spreads for this archetype typically favor intelligence / spirit, spell damage, mana recovery — but the 212-point budget at level cap is generous enough to grab quality-of-life nodes from the core (health, stamina, glide distance) on any build.
